The programme Youth in Action, in particular the European Voluntary Service is our main stage to fulfil our objective. The association share-it is an international “interface” for young people willing to work as volunteers, implementing information systems, organizing conferences and seminars, carrying out researches on youth. We draw on the many youngsters, who wish to participate in innovative experiences and projects of solidarity involving less developed countries.

Over the years share-it has created productive and solid, professional relations with organizations of other countries through the implementation of common projects: share-it has an office in Phnom Penh and cooperates with several NGOs based in South-East Asian countries.. The young people involved in EVS activities organized by share-it develop non-formal education, to acquire key competences (for instance the knowledge of another language and culture) and to have access easily and with more rights to the knowledge-based society, as it has been expressed in the Lisbon Conference. Young volunteers acquire chances for their future studies and for their professional life.

share-it is accredited as sending, host and coordinating organization, and employs adequate competences and expertise in all phases of EVS: organization, training, permanent assistance to volunteers, follow-up, adoption of non-formal learning methods, implementation of a system of technical assistance and evaluation of the goals achieved.
